| Davis
Cemetery is a historic place in Walker County. It is
located on the Dora-Cordova road adjacent to the Dora
Second Baptist Church. Families in the Dora area have
laid their loved ones to rest in this peaceful shady
place for many, many years.
Veterans from the Civil War along with soldiers who
fought in both World Wars, Korea and Vietnam are buried
here.

There
are two sections to the cemetery. The old sections contains
graves over a hundred years old. The new section is owned
by Davis Cemetery Inc. a non-profit group which manages
the sales and maintenance of the cemetery. Information
about available lots, pricing, and other helpful information
can be found by clicking on the links to the left.
NOTE: A list of people buried at Davis Cemetery from the
beginning until 1994 is now posted. The other names will
