People Buried at Davis
Second Sunday in June is Decoration Day
Decoration day is just around the corner. Please consider coming one day to help clean off the graves.
Donations last year weren't enough to cover increasing fuel and maintenance costs so much of the cleanup is left to volunteers.
These are our people here, let's honor them by pitching in and making this old historical cemetery a beautiful place for our ancestors.
Please remove any flowers by April 1 each year so the cemetery can be cleaned before decoration day.
Due to theft an damage, the property is now under video surveillance. Theft and vandals will be prosecuted.
Cemetery is a historic place in Walker County. It is
located on the Dora-Cordova road adjacent to the Dora
Second Baptist Church. Families in the Dora area have

are two sections to the cemetery. The old sections contains
graves over a hundred years old. The new section is owned
